Worship at Second Mile Church

Five Things to Anticipate

  1. A warm team of volunteers welcoming you as a family.
  2. Exciting time of worship led by a stage full of singers and musicians.
  3. An encouraging and challenging message from the Bible by Pastor Adam Mew.
  4. A church family that will love you, serve you, and walk with you in your faith in Jesus.
  5. A place for your whole family to not just attend on Sundays but get fully involved in the community of fun, faith-filled Second Milers.

What about my kids?

Don't worry! Kids are our priority too. Second Mile Kids is a fun, clean, and safe space for kids six weeks of age through 5th grade to learn and grow in their faith in Jesus. A team of background-checked leaders will love and care for your child. We believe your kids will wake up the next week begging to go back to church. That's our prayer at least!

FAQ

Our services are typically 75 minutes. That time is split between worship time, special prayer time, and hope-filled message from Scripture.
There is no dress code. Headed to the beach afterward? Come in shorts and t-shirt. Like to dress up for church? Get fancy.
Growth Track is your next step. Our first session is Sunday, September 26 at 9am in theater #4. Growth Track will introduce you to ways to volunteer, small groups to join, and spiritual next steps that we believe will propel you forward in your faith journey.
Not at all. We are thankful for the partnership with The Pointe 14 and Stone Theaters for allowing us to rent the space during the hours they are normally closed. We encourage you to return the blessing by making this your #1 movie theater choice in Wilmington.
One thing about Pastor Adam and Carrie is that they love people. You can find Pastor Adam after service greeting you at the door as you leave so take time to introduce yourself.
We know this is a very challenging time for many in our community from schools to businesses to healthcare workers to families. Sickness has affected many close to us so we proceed with care and wisdom as we continue gathering to worship together. While we, nor the theater, require masks indoors, some choose to wear them and others do not. If you’re vulnerable, feeling sick, or concerned in any way, we replay our services on Wednesdays via Facebook.
